Co-op Live: The Largest Music Arena Coming To Manchester

About Me

Hey! I am Nabilah I am18 years old and my family moved to the UK from Bangladesh when I was 9 years old.

If someone told me a year ago, I'll be working in the music industry I wouldn't have believed it... But here I am, working in the UK's largest and most sustainable arena. In a nutshell, my job is to create social content and graphic design but there is so much more and will drastically change once our arena opens in 2023.

I studied BTEC Business Level 3 in college, but it was the marketing units that especially stood out to me. At the time I was also doing 3D modelling commissions for video game companies as a hobby / part-time job. This is when I realised I liked the freedom to think creatively and be practical, and marketing was the industry I wanted to work in.

Co-op Live

Co-op Live will be the largest arena in the UK with a capacity of 23,500, it will also be one of the most sustainable arenas in Europe running on 100% green electricity and having 0 waste. Co-op Live will have enough solar panels on the roof to cover 2 football pitches to keep the lights and air conditioners on.

Co-op Live will have a 22 metre bar ( 2 bus equivalent ) in The Street which is also able to host its own mini events and concerts for the smaller artists who are not able to fill a 23,500 capacity bowl.

The construction of Co-op Live is a £365 million investment by Harry Styles, City Football Group & OVG which is actually the perfect combo. Harry is an artist himself and is able to open the window to what an artist's dream arena looks like, in fact he inspired the design of the arena bowl. Coop Live is being built on City football campus; 5 minutes walk from the stadium to the arena. OVG has a growing tycoon of music arenas in the USA such as Moody Center & Climate Pledge Arena. Co-op Live is the first model to open in Europe, if you have not noticed already, Co-op is the naming rights partner of Co-op Live.
